The Jews don't hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one single Jew that has destroyed a church. There is NOT a single Jew that protests by killing people. The Jews don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels. Per haps the world's Muslims should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems. Muslims must ask what they have done for humankind before they demand that humankind respects them!! Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel 's part, the following two sentences really say it all: If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.

Golden Globe Predictions

Movies/TV Shows I have seen: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Burn After Reading, Mamma Mia, Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, Dark Knight, Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E, House, Brothers & A top Hillary Rodham Clinton fundraiser threw her support behind Republican John McCain on Wednesday, saying he will lead the country in a centrist fashion and accusing the Democrats of becoming too extreme.

"I believe that Barack Obama, with MoveOn.org and Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean, has taken the Democratic Party — and they will continue to — too far to the left," Lynn Forester de Rothschild said. "I'm not comfortable there."
Rothschild is also a member of the Democratic National Committee's Platform Committee. She said she would be stepping down from her position on the committee but will not switch political parties.

She praised McCain for working with Democrats to pass legislation and for standing up to President Bush on the Iraq war. "I just ask, who has Barack Obama ever stood up to? And that troubles me a lot," she said. Rothschild also disputed Obama's argument that a McCain administration would be an extension of Bush's presidency. Democrats cite McCain's own account of having voted in support of Bush's policies 90 percent of the time.
She said the Arizona senator has broken with Bush to support funding for stem-cell research and to curb greenhouse gas emissions.

"It is the classic cheap shot. Just not true," she said. Rothschild said she was also excited by the prospect of a woman being in the White House, even though she and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin disagree on issues. The Alaska governor opposes abortion except in the case of a threat to the mother's life. Rothschild said she supports abortion rights.
"I believe that the McCain-Palin government will be a centrist government," Rothschild said. "It's not going to be an ideological government."

Rothschild is a member of the DNC's Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York. She was one of Clinton's top fundraisers, bringing in more than $100,000 for her presidential campaign. She built a multimillion-dollar telecommunications company before marrying international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild.

Rothschild said she has not discussed her support for McCain with Clinton.
"I'm sure she is not pleased with what I'm doing today," she said. "But you know what? I have to do what I believe in."

...AWESOME!

Democrats & Economy

So all the Democrats keep asking the question, "are you better off than you were 4 or 8 years ago?". First, YES! I am. Four years ago, I didn't have a job nor did I eight years ago. Secondly, let's really look at who has more control over the economy: the president or the congress? Does the president have any control over taxes or wages or employement or job creation? NO. You know who does? CONGRESS! And guess who has controlled Congress for two years now. That's right, the Democrats.

So next time you hear some political pundit or Democrat try and throw the Republicans and President George W. Bush under the 'economy bus', ask yourself who has more impact on the economy and you should come to the realization that it's NOT President Bush.

Politics: Democrats vs Republicans

Lately, all we've heard from the Democrats is that Governor Palin lacks experience to be the Commander-In-Chief.

1. Last time I checked, the VICE President WAS NOT the Commander-In-Chief. That duty falls to the PRESIDENT. The Republicans have nominated Senator John McCain to be the President; not Sarah Palin. So for once, the Democrats got it right, Sarah Palin does lack experience to be the Commander-In-Chief. That's why she's going to be the VICE PRESIDENT.

2. If Sarah Palin, with her 14 years in EXECUTIVE roles, does indeed lack experience, how can Senators Joe Biden or Barack Obama (NEITHER of whom have ANY executive experice) claim to have MORE? Senator Obama has been a Senator FOR THREE YEARS! Do you really want someone who has not even served a term in Congress to be your president? I DON'T!

Politics: THE quote vs THE EXPERIENCE vs THE question

The QUOTE:
Michelle Obama QUOTE: "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country." She was speaking about her husband's success as the Democratic nominee for president. REALLY!? You've had two children. You've been married. You've seen your husband elected to SEVERAL offices. You've seen a strong America under President Clinton. You were able to vote. REALLY!? You were most proud to be an American when your husband got the Democratic nomination? THAT'S SAD...AND UNAMERICAN!

The EXPERIENCE:
Senator Barack Obama became a US Senator just over THREE YEARS AGO! Do you really want someone with THREE YEARS of experience? When you have to schedule a WORLD TOUR and pick a running mate with MORE experience than you, SOMETHING IS WRONG!

THE QUESTION:
You have choice America:
Barack Obama: His wife says of her 44 years of life has only been PROUD of her country for 1 of them. He has THREE YEARS of REAL political expeience.

John McCain: His wife has been proud to be an American since she can remember. He has been serving in Congress SINCE 1987!

The real question comes down to EXPERIENCE. Should a Vice President have more experience than the President? Apparently Senator Obama does! Not only does Senator McCain reject this fantasy, he rises ABOVE IT! He has 20 YEARS of EXPERIENCE and his Vice Presidential candidate has THE MOST (of ALL THREE OF THEM) EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE of them all.

HOW CAN YOU CHANGE ANYTHING WITHOUT EXPERIENCE?

Politics: The DNC: President Clinton

Before I start I want to first say that I was actually a fan of President Clinton. He made huge strides in terms of Education, the Environment, and Domestic Properity. In other words, at home, he rocked! Abroad, is another question.

I bring this up because President Clinton spoke at the DNC and brought up similiarities between himself and Senator Obama and the question as to whether or not either of them are qualified to be Commander-In-Chief. President Clinton basically said that even though people claimed he was too inexperienced (as they do with Senator Obama) to be Commander-In-Chief, he was still good. NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND:

1. Rwanda. While over ONE MILLION people died in Rwanda, President Clinton and his Cabinet tried to define genocide and stood by and watched.

2. Yugoslavia. Again, as HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people died, President Clinton stood back and sent to UN.

3. Mogadishu. Finally! President Clinton actually USES the military - only to back out after seeing some resistance and then U.S. troops die. Talk about 'cut and run'.

4. Africa, in general, during the 90s fell further into civil war and political unrest.

Ask yourself, do any of these "actions" seem like a responsible or experienced Commander-In-Cheif.

I remember back to the previous two elections, the Democrats said President George Bush lacked leadership and experience but now see Senator Obama's similar lack of leadership and experience as a plus - like that of President Clinton's. I hope you ask yourself if you feel (as the Democrats and President Clinton do) that simply watching and doing nothing as the world around us crumble IS NOT a good thing!

Politics: Chris Matthews

So Chris Matthews was on the Jay Leno show on Friday, July 21 and declared in his infinite wisdom, "anyone under 50 will vote for Barack and anyone over 50 will vote for McCain". Before and after he tried to hide the fact that he had already made up his mind to vote Senator OBama and how Senator McCain was too old to be President. There were several things that made me very upset with Chris Matthews.

1) Maybe it's me but isn't the press supposed to be unbiased. I shouldn't be able to tell a commentator's politicsl views. Clearly tonight with Chris Matthews, I could. With even a more broad brush, how many times has Senator McCain been to the Middle East? Several? How many times did the press make such a big to do about ANY of those trips? ZERO! How many times has Senator McCain been to the Middle East? ONCE! How many times did the press make such a big to do about THIS ONE trip? ENOUGH! Remember when the press used to report the NEWS - not the news of who they want to be President? I DO! WHAT HAPPENED?

2) Despite your political views, shouldn't you address people in power in OUR government with the title the were elected to? President Bush. Like him or not but he's still THE PRESIDENT - as was President Clinton or the 41 other presidents before him. Chris Matthews referred to "Obama" simply as "Obama" several times on the Jay Leno show. Again, I don't care if you agree with their politics or not, they EARNED that title. Simply calling him (or her) Obama or Bush or Clinton is VERY disrespectful.

3) This one directly involves Chris Matthews' quote. Again, he stated: "anyone under 50 will vote for Barack and anyone over 50 will vote for McCain". Knowing dozens of people under 50, I'd be very surprised if HALF of them DON'T vote for Senator McCain. Even further more Chris Matthews, who is 62, clearly will be voting for Senator Obama and is OVER 50. Is NBC REALLY sending this guy to BOTH the conventions and expect an unbiased report? COM'ON!

Sports: When Is It My Turn?

Before I begin, I mean NO disrespect to any teams but honestly: WHEN IS IT MY TURN. Georgia Basketball wins the SEC, Gym Dawgs win 4 consecutive National Championships, Braves win 13 consecutive Division Titles, Georgia Football goes to the Sugar Bowl when we we didn't even win our division...AWESOME...But let's be honest. I want a National Title from a sport that matters. Gym Dawgs, I love y'all and have been to a few meets but you don't really compare to football, basketball, or even baseball. Braves, you've done something NO other team (in ANY sport) in the universe could do but you haven't even been to the World Series since 1999. Georgia Basketball, I love that y'all won the SEC but y'all sucked in the tourney. I won't even touch the Hawks as I HATE the NBA. The Falcons have great years followed by AWFUL years and lately there's been more awfulness. Georgia Football, you've come close so many years and have been to some awesome bowl games but our last national title was in 1980. And finally, Georgia Baseball. I was so ready for a National Championship this year...and I think most of your fan expected one after Monday. You had it. You were SO close but you let it slip through your fingers.

With all this in mind, I was overwhelmed after Georgia Baseball's loss to Fresno State on Wednesday. I found myself asking: "When is it my turn", "When does my team get a break", "When does my team win a National Championship?". I am sick and tired of being the "almost" team. I'm done with going to the post season only to be disappointed in the end. I want a National Championship from football or baseball. I love winning the Sugar Bowl but winning the National Championship game would be so much better. I love going to the NLDS/NLCS but winning the World Series is so much sweeter.

So I ask this of the Braves, Falcons, and University of Georgia Football: BRING HOME A NATIONAL TITLE. ANYONE! I have a feeling you'll make a lot of people happy.

Idol: 5/20

This time yesterday, I would have told you that David Cook would win this hands down. I really am sick and tired of hearing about the many faces of our President Bush. Apparently the crazies of this world would have you think many different things about our President. Some say he's an evil genius who orchestrated 9/11 while others (who are actually just more of the same people) say he's a war criminal who attacked the wrong country (Iraq) for 9/11. Let's break down each of these thoughts and see who wins (if anyone).

The Evil Genius:
These people say he orchestrated 9/11 killing mpore than 4,000 innocent Americans. Believe it or not, there are people who actually claim this; and you thought the "President Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor attack" conspiracy theory was bad. Let's really think this one through. WHat would President Bush actually NEED to accomplish this feat? There's actually been a "film" - and I use the term film in the loosest of context outlining the steps. Let's start with the big ones: First, 15 foreign nationals all of whom have an Islamic background and apparently a reason to die for an American President (and country) they hate (for a reason unknown to them). Next, 3 commercial airliners. Since they are so easy to come by. How many has President Bush been on since 2000? Oh, that's right: NONE! Now that the easy part is done, let's get down to the hard stuff. Dozens, maybe hundreds of government officials including Air Flight controllers, Police Officers, Firemen, Ambulance Drivers as well as several demolition experts who blew up the WTC complex and pilots who shot down United 93 - since it didn't go down by itself, right?

The War Criminal:
These people say they don't care who was responsible for 9/11 (but most of them still blame President Bush for 9/11 and most other problems recently). These people say that President Bush "used" 9/11 to invade Iraq - since invading any country, let alone Iraq, is what a president wants to do. So let's break this one down as well. First, you'd have to have evidence or some reason to get into Iraq. Well, the United States (the government including the White House AND CONGRESS) listened to spies in Iraq who talked about weapons of mass distuction. Infact, these people even gave a presentation to Congress AND the UN which included detailed diagrams of trains to move weapons and depots used to produce weapons. Our President Bush listened to these spies and asked Congress (as he's Constituionally told to do) for permission to liberate Iraq - Congress said yes. Why all of a sudden is Iraq solely on President Bush's shoulders? These people believe President Bush tricked Congress, the UN, NATO, the American people, and dozens of countries and actually went ahead and liberated Iraq.

Man, both of these seem like a huge feat involving many people; none of which have come forward; for a President who didn't even win the popular vote in 2000. Does that just seem weird to me? If there was some huge lied told, wouldn't someone involved in this lie have come forward by now? Either side is talking about THOUSANDS of people directly invovled in a huge plot. Both believe the American people have been tricked by or lied to by President Bush yet neither have any of these people involved.

Let's be honest. Isn't it possible that in the past few year America was faced with several huge and traumatic events; events no person was ready to deal with. Looking back, SURE, things could have been different. THEY WEREN'T. GET OVER IT! It's time to stop pointing fingers and placing blame and come up with solutions.

Idol: 5/13

There was only one stand out performance.

1. Not only is she pregnant but now she's showing off her 7 month pregnant body in a bikini. Ok. Two questions: How and why? First, how did she get pregnant? Who would even think about putting their penis in her? I feel sorry for this guy. I'm sorry but she looks weird to me. I'm telling you she is an alien in a human suit. Her eyes are like huge empty saucers, she always looks confused, and the rhythm of her voice is out of sync. She's just weird. Secondly, why? Why do some pregnant women feel it necessary to show off their pregnant bodies? A normal looking pregnant woman looks weird enough to me. Put Tori Spelling's face on top of that and throw her in a bikini. YIKES! Something I definitely do not want to see.

Politics: Promises

So two unrelated issues but they both fall under the same category.

First off, who are all these Democrats voting in these primaries? I was under the impression that they were all moving to Canada if President George W. Bush got re-elected in 2004. He did. Why are they still here? It's funny that you don't hear anyone making promises about leaving the country if Barack Hussein Obama or Hillary Rodham Clinton becomes the next president. I guess the people who will not be voting for them feel they don't have to make such promises knowing John McCain will be winning.

Secondly, all the talk of these $600 stimulus checks arrival is starting to piss me off. Not because the government is issuing them but because me not anyone I have talked to has gotten them yet. The government gave us this timeline using the last digits of our social security numbers and whether or not we got paper checks or used a direct deposit. Well according to the forementioned timeline, I should have gotten my check by LAST Friday - yet I still haven't gotten it. I filed THE day I got my lone W2 form (first time in a long time I've only had ONE) which was Jan 24th - clearly by the April 15th deadline.

The sad thing is for the 1st time in several months, I'm actually NOT hurting for the money nor am I overly excited about any of the presidential candidates. I guess with 12 school days left, I'm getting antsy for the end to be here already. Just needed to vent.

Idol: 5/6

1. Could you imgaine a WET - White Entertainment Television or the NAAWP - National Association for the Advancement of White People? I sure can't. Why were quotas used at schools like Michigan and Georgia for so long but not even talked about being used at Morehouse? I'm not sure I'd want to get into a college (where you go to learn) based on my race as opposed to my academic success. I don't consider myself supreme to anyone - whether it be based on sex, religion, preference, nationality, and certainly NOT race.

Could you imagine a 'white' person going on national tv and saying that the only thing an 'African American" athlete eats is fried chicken and watermelon. Well, Shaq went on national tv when Yao Ming got drafted saying all "THEY" eat is shop suey and not ONE person said anything about it.

I am watching Nightline and they are discussing how Barrack Hussein Obama is distancing himself from his minister Jeremiah Wright after his allegations that American desvered to be attacked on 9/11 and the US government invented AIDS to kill all the African Americans. I'm not touching the 9/11 statement with a ten foot pole but I will address the AIDS statement. First off, if the US government created AIDS why is it so common in Africa? Secondly, if the US government created AIDS to kill African Americans why is the African American population growing in the US?

Is what really got me during the Barack Hussein Obama piece is that there were several interviews given by African Americans from Chicago. All four of them used either the words "our" or "we" referring to the African American community. To add insult to injury, half of these people either agreeded with Barrack Hussein Obama's minister's comments or (even worse) agrees with him but wishes he didn't say these comments in such a public place just so an African American could become President.

I'm tired of hearing about equal rights yet having nothing near them. Men HAVE to join the selective service (draft) but women don't. Minorities can get into college based on their RACE while non minorities have to do it old fashion way - ACADEMICS!

Just because you're a minority doesn't mean you can't be discriminatory. GET OVER IT!

NOBAMA IN '08!

Idol: 4/29

My God, how cracked out was Paula tonight? I'm offically addicted to them now. They taste really good and are also are apparently pretty good for you. Give 'em a try. They're like $1 and better for you than that coke you're about to drink. The 'Revive' was really good as a mid afternoon pick me up. Two-in-one, moisturizing, defrizz, straightening, curling, soothing, anti-dandruff, body-adding. I could go on but those are just a sampling of what I saw at the shampoo aisle today at Kroger. Yes, shampoo now has it's own aisle!! And if that weren't enough, what conditioner goes with what shampoo? I mean, I want my hair to be clean but I also want it to have body. I want it to be under control but I also want it to be shinny. The shampoo-conditioner pairings are endless.

Secondly, why is shampoo so hard to open yet conditioner so hard to open? I have shampoo now I literally have to pry open with my teeth but the conditioner sometimes opens itself. That's just what I want to do upon waking up: put the end of my shampoo bottle into my mouth - and you know you're gonna get some shampoo in your mouth. Yuck!

Thirdly, the directions. Are there people out there who "repeat if necessary"? I mean, com'on! I've had times when my hair was stright up funky - we're talking a week after hiking, bathing in a creek was a luxury. When I get back to a shower I didn't feel I had to wash my hair twice in one showering. That's just wasteful to me.

Lastly, and this might be just me but does anyone else buy a different type or brand of shampoo every visit. I've never used the same kind. My hair always feels better when I use that brand new shampoo but the end of the bottle, I'm ready to part ways.

I do have to admit, this new Garnier Fructis is really good but I'm sure I'll return in a few months to buy some new brand or combination of shampoo and conditioner.

Idol: Reults 4/23

WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? For some reason these just get under my skin. The newest one asks: "What's so great about having the internet in your pocket?" and goes on to say "You can see the trail map while you're on the mountain, find a good place to eat in town when you're hungry, and change your flight when you're just not ready to go home."

First off, I can see the trail map while I'm on a mountain. It's called a map. Plus, there are places in large cities I can't get cell coverage. Do they really expect us to think that we'll get coverage ON A MOUNTAIN??

Secondly, if I'm hungry, I'll eat. I don't need an iPhone to tell me when I'm hungry. I know where I liek to eat and where I don't. I don't say, damn, I'm starving, let me go online and find something to eat. I GO GET IT!

Thirdly, if you were to try and change your flight to another day or even a later time, good luck. You can't just say, hmm, I think I'll stay another day and just change your flight. Hell, if you're even LATE for a flight, good luck getting another one without paying for it.

Idol: 2/20

Top 12 Girls. I will be the 1st to admit that I very chaotic and messy when I cook but the results are worth it. With it being Lent, I had to find some meatless recipes. I've been waiting to make some Giada seafood recipes and everything seemed to lined up. I made some grilled seabass in tomato sauce and shrimp in a butternut squash puree over rigatoni. I don't mean to brag, but these could be two of my favorite (and best) dishes YET! The butternut squash definitely keep my ass...HARD...but worth it in the end. The tomato sauce left something to be desired but I worked the HELL outta that fish.

If you're having cooking issues, just eyeball it and and play it by ear. The one I had been to in Atlanta was OK but nothing phenomenal. Well this one was beyond amazing. THE best damn food I have EVER had out. Taste explosion. I'm addicted. I got the (no laughing) fish tacos. Everything thing was so good! I The fish were fresh & crispy. The tortilla were light & not rubbery (as so many can be) and the relish on top was the best part. Thick, so it didn't ooze all over your fingers and nice and tangy. Me and Brandi also got some Long Islands. I'm not a big fan of Long Islands since they tend to taste nasty with all the bouze that goes into them, but these were A-MA-ZING! To top it off, I paid less than $15 WITH TIP. That's the tacos & and HUGE Long Island. We all shared food and everybody else's was just as good. Some of the best calamari I've ever had, Kevin's Ceasar Salad was without a doubt THE best I've ever had and Julie's Quesadillas were fantastic. I think I might actually go back for lunch it just that damn good. I highly recommend.

And not only was the food good, biut so was the service. Our waitress was perfect. You could see tons of people working to clear off tables and we ever got a visit from not only the manager but the owner of the place. Very good eats!

TV: The Gauntlet 3

Ok, honestly, can MTV just stop with "Road Rules"? I don't know A (as in say ah) single person who still watches it. Plus, when I watch Real World/Road Rules Challenge, I have no idea who half the people are. Just stop and make it the Real World Challenge. On the otherhand, can we retire Coral from these challenges already? She's a bitch, I get it!

Just when I thought they couldn't possibly make the rules even MORE complicated, THEY DO! Guys vs Girls, Veterans vs Rookies, Tie Breakers, Protected vs Unprotected. WOW! It makes sense to me but I've seen the previous Gautlets but someone who hasn't, I don't see how in the world they could understand this.

I did enjoy all the making out and hooking up. If I'm not doing, it's at least fun to watch.

Movies: "Cloverfield"

First let me start by saying that there a few issues I was concered about like the hand-held camera aspect, actually seeing the monster, and if that monster was going to be too 'godzillaish'. I am very glad to say that all my concerns were quieted after seeing this film.

I have to say that this film, for me, was THE most satisfying movie I've EVER seen. I'm not even sure where to begin. The hand-held camera motion didn't really bother me. There are a few scenes that get crazy but, I never got dizzy or motion sickness or anything. Even the running, you can tell Abrams used some kind of stabilizing device. Kudos! The moster, yes it's a monster, becomes more and more visible and central to the story as the film progresses. And if you were worried about not seeing, YOU DO! And if you were worried about it being a godzilla look-alike, IT DOESN'T. The film focuses more on the characters and their physical & emotional survival of the monster. It's a rollercoaster of suspense & drama & action. You do need to listen especailly, after the subway scene, but I am not lying when I say this is THE most satisfying movie EVER.
